Designer’s Guide

The Thermo Electric Temperature Measurement Designer’s Guide

For over fifty years the Thermo Electric Designer’s Guide has been synonymous with the “industry hand book” on how to design and build the appropriate temperature sensor for a specific industrial application. Design Engineers and Applications Engineers, Corporate Buyers and Field Service Professionals have all availed themselves of the Guide since its inception and through its frequent revisions. For many process engineers the Thermo Electric Designer’s Guide has been referred to as the industry “standard” for temperature sensor design.

Throughout its long history Thermo Electric’s philosophy has been that of a working partner with its clients to develop and produce the best possible response to their respective temperature sensing needs.

After nearly 30 months in the making we are pleased to present the new Thermo Electric Designer’s guide, the ninth edition of this illustrious document. The new guide includes many of the educational features of its predecessors with modifications and updates that have improved its overall utility for today’s market users.

Dedication

While many members of the Thermo Electric staff have been involved in the development and final execution of the new Guide, a special appreciation and debt of gratitude must be extended to Jay Wallace, one of Thermo Electric’s Senior Design Engineers. Mr. Wallace tirelessly worked on the numerous design drawings over the past few years while continuing in his role as a professional consultant for our many valued customers that have looked to Thermo Electric for the solution to their specific design applications. Thanks to Jay’s efforts we are confident that the new Designer’s Guide will remain a unique tool for the many industry professionals involved in the task of designing temperature sensors for their industrial process applications.
