Thermo Electric maintains a team of certified welders who satisfy a large variety of industry requirements including those on ANSI, ASME Boiler and Pressure Codes (BPVC), IEC, AWS, SAE, GE, Halliburton, Rolls-Royce, and Siemens standards.
Certified Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) are supported by our Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), all maintained by our Quality Management System to ensure full traceability and accountability.
We employ expert, manual and semi-automatic welding techniques such as; GTAW (TIG), FCAW (MIG), Resistance (ERW), Laser Beam (LBW), and brazing. Our factories are equipped to properly weld and heat-treat an extensive range of temperature process and power piping hardware ranging as thin as tin-foil to almost an inch thick.
Our capability to weld or braze materials includes Silver, Copper, Aluminum, Carbon & Spec Grade, Galvanized, Stainless, Titanium, Nickel-Molybdenum-Chromium based (Inconel, Hastelloy, etc.) and a few dozen other, high-performance “superalloys.”
Fabricated parts include Thermowells, Pipewells, thin & thick-wall tubing, Mineral-Insulated (MI or MIMS) Cable, weld-pads, electronic sensors, high-pressure parts, enclosures, heat-shields, pipe clamps, and a host other non-standard fittings & adapters.
